Nutcracker Auditions will be taking place on Sunday September 9th. As of now we will be in the rock climbing room. The audition schedule will be as followed:
1:15-1:45 Pointe at TWC
2:00 Registration, money collection, and measurements begin
2:15-2:45 6 and 7 year olds
2:45-3:30 8-17 year olds
3:30-4:30 Clara and Fritz
4:15 Adults
There is a $50 performance fee that will be collected from each dancer at auditions. Checks can be made out to AYBT. If you would like a Nutcracker T-shirt add an additional $15.
The performance is set for December 1st.We will have an afternoon and evening performance as well as a dress rehearsal with AYBT the morning of. We will be rehearsing Friday November 9th after school as well. Please mark your calendars.
Nutcracker rehearsals will be on Sunday afternoons leading up until the performance. Please note this is quite a big commitment so before you audition please make sure you are available.
If you have any catalog fundraising from the meeting a few weeks ago it is due at the audition.
We will have volunteer sign up sheets at the audition as well. Please parents sign up for two things…..we really need all the help we can get!

Annie Claire is interested in the Nutcracker but won’t be 7 until Feb. We will plan to come to the meeting on the 12th. Should she stick w/ballet? She is also interested in tap but again not 7 yet.

Yes please come to the meeting! I would have her stick with ballet this semester….especially if she ends up dancing in the Nutcracker! She could maybe do tap in the Spring.

Annabel also will not be 7 until February, but she would love to be considered. I will be in a painting class in Chattanooga in the 12th, so I can’t attend the meeting. However, I can volunteer to help out.
