The Nutcracker production is set for Saturday, November 15 at Guerry Auditorium.

The Nutcracker AUDITIONS are scheduled for Sunday, September 7.

From 2:00-3:00 for dancers ages 7-10 year olds will audition;
From 3:00-3:30 David will meet with all Parents, Guardians, etc.;
From 3:30-4:30 ages 11 and up and for anyone on pointe and males who would like to partner will audition.

The audition is open for any University students or staff or other adults who would like to be parents in the party scene or more challenging parts.

Most rehearsals will be held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals will last approximately one hour per dance, per week. Over the past few years the local cast has performed all the roles in the Party Scene, Mice, Spanish, Shepherdesses and Sheep, Gingerbread Children and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre dancers will be coming from Huntsville to perform all roles not filled by our local cast.
